• On July 1 the Parker Farm Field Day was held at U of I. Direct Seeding yeilds there were less than conventional yields.

• During July 25 to 31, the International SWCS Conference was held in Spokane.

• Attendance was the largest in many years. New technology was brought to Spokane and the Northwest through the poster and plenary presentations.
